Our aims

Building in an environmentally responsible manner, whenever we possibly can, is key to our ethical approach. This includes the use of many low carbon products and the employment of power & heating methods such as solar, air source and ground source plus rainwater harvesting.

We aim to construct homes in which people can live, not just exist.

Some elements of this approach are:

Develop low density sites with open outside areas: not squeeze in as many houses as physically possible.

Sufficient power sockets, data infrastructure and lighting for modern living. Plenty of natural light, utilising well positioned windows and roof windows.

Good quality kitchens and sanitaryware, bedrooms with enough space for wardrobes, sufficient storage space around the home.

Minimum 2.4 metre/8 ft ceiling heights and 2.7 metre/8ft 10 inches when appropriate.
