I contacted them for a quotation and from the moment I met Stephen I really wanted their price to be competitive. Right from the outset they have been approachable and professional. As someone who likes to know what is happening and how it works, I found that everyone engaged in this work was polite and ready to answer any questions I had. This is the first time I have employed a builder who made me feel like the client.

Everything was explained to me and every question answered clearly without the use of jargon. The workmen were respectful of my home and my family, always leaving the work space clean and useable wherever possible.

The work was co-ordinated so if I was told someone would arrive, e.g. the electrician, then that workman arrived. The only hiccup was the weather and I guess that was down to forces beyond the builders control. All work was completed to the highest standard. What we did
CDBJ Ltd removed the flat roof, raised the ceiling heights and built a new pitched roof. The internal wall and door configuration was altered. Bay window built to enhance bedroom, window opening sizes altered to suit new internal configuration. New external doors, garage door and windows. Old render removed and renewed. New boiler and radiators, rewired, new kitchen, utility room and bathroom. New carpet and flooring. The bungalow was fully plastered and painted and thoroughly cleaned by a professional cleaning company. All work was completed and the site cleared within 9 weeks.

Stephen listened to my needs when I was looking to open a rehearsal studio and then quickly came back to me, not only with an incredible price, but advised me about ways in which they could modify the build to still meet the criteria required and save me a substantial amount of money.

By utilising their advice and skills I would say I got a better build than I had originally planned and saved over £3000 against other quotes. They sourced the best materials for the job and their tradesmen were excellent. I could concentrate on setting up my new business and leave all the worry of the studio build to them.
